Templates

Templates are a powerful feature in Codalio that allow you to start with a pre-defined structure for your product. This can help you get started quickly and ensure that you cover all the key aspects of your product.

Building a Template

To build a template, you convert a project into a template. This can be done by clicking on the "Generate Template" button on the left sidebar once the project has completed the Architect phase. The name of the template will be the name of the project.

Modifying an Existing Template

An existing template can be modified by building from a template and then restarting at the particular phase of the project where the modification is required. The template can then be saved as a new template once fully approved.
